The District is sharing an opportunity from our partners at Farmers on the Rock, the producer-led watershed group for the Rock River Basin.
Pasture Walk – Tuesday, Sept. 23 at the farm of Allan Arndt (long-time rotational grazer in Rock County).
Explore a working grazing system and hear how Allan manages livestock for soil health, forage quality, and profitability. Topics include grazing strategies, fencing and water setups, pasture recovery, and long-term land stewardship. Expect a pasture walk, Q&A, peer-to-peer learning, conservation/cost-share info, great conversation—and supper.
