The Indianford Dam project is expected to resume Monday, June 5, 2023, after a nearly two months pause due to high water resulting from late winter weather conditions. The west dam chamber containing three new slide gates have been fully open since the time of project pause as well as the east slide gates. The
goal was to reduce the tail water level for diver safety which has been achieved so far. At this time, all gates are being closed to also reduce tail water in anticipation of the Monday start. It is also expected the three gates in the west chamber will remain closed until the project’s completion. Small adjustments in the east gates may be made to meet the WisDNR water level orders. During the project, the priority has been to residence’s and contractors’ needs with water levels adjusted to be fair and safe. We will try to keep you updated as the project progresses.
Thank you for your patience!
